We manufacture a comprehensive range of precision grips and fixtures including wedge grips, pneumatic grips, hydraulic grips, vise grips, compression platens, bending fixtures (3- and 4-point), shear fixtures, peel grips, thread head grips, rope grips, and fully custom test jigs. All are CNC-machined in-house from engineering steels, stainless steel, or aluminum to your drawings or test standard specifications (ISO, ASTM, DIN, EN, BIS).

What test standards do your grips comply with?

Our grips and fixtures are machined to comply with a wide range of international and Indian test standards including ISO 6892, ASTM E8, ASTM D638, ISO 178, ASTM D790, DIN 51220, EN ISO 604, TAPPI, and BIS/IS standards. We can also manufacture to any customer-provided drawing or proprietary standard specification. If you provide the test standard, we ensure the fixture geometry and dimensional tolerances are correct.

Can you manufacture custom grips from our own drawings?

Yes — this is a core service. We regularly manufacture custom grips, jigs, and test fixtures from customer-supplied drawings in PDF, DWG, DXF, or 3D STEP/IGES formats. Our engineering team can also assist with design if you provide the test standard, specimen geometry, or performance requirement. Send us your files for a quotation within 24–48 hours.

What tolerances can you achieve for grip components?

Our VMC machining centres (3, 4, and 5-axis) achieve tolerances of ±0.005 mm on critical grip dimensions. Mating surfaces, jaw faces, alignment bores, and threaded features are machined and verified using CMM inspection equipment to ensure accurate load transfer and co-axial specimen alignment during testing.

Do you supply replacement jaw inserts and grip accessories?

Yes. We manufacture replacement jaw inserts in serrated, smooth, V-groove, and crosshatch patterns in various hardness grades (40–62 HRC). We also produce load cell adapters, universal coupling pins, specimen alignment fixtures, and machine-to-grip adapters. Provide us with the jaw dimensions, grip model, or a sample jaw for matching. Quick turnaround of 1 week for most standard inserts.

What materials do you use for grip manufacturing?

We machine grips from materials selected for the application: EN8/EN24 alloy steel for standard grip bodies; EN31 / D2 / H13 tool steel (hardened to 58–62 HRC) for jaw inserts; SS 304 / SS 316 for corrosion-resistant grips; aluminum 6061/7075 for lightweight fixtures; and engineering plastics (PEEK, POM) for electrical isolation or low-force applications.

How long does it take to manufacture custom grips?

Standard lead time for custom grip manufacturing is 2–4 weeks from approved drawings, depending on complexity and quantity. Simple jaw inserts or adapters are often completed in 1 week. Expedited manufacturing is available for urgent laboratory requirements. Contact us with your drawings for an accurate timeline and quotation.

Can you ship grips and fixtures across India and internationally?

Yes. We ship precision grips and fixtures pan-India from our Vadodara, Gujarat facility via reliable transport partners to all major cities including Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Coimbatore. International shipping via DHL, FedEx, and sea freight is available for export orders to the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Southeast Asia with full export documentation.
